[link] Look at the last few entries by this artist... I swear... the glow just like or better than digital.

Well, like any medium, if you are inexperienced it'll take you longer. But, if you happened to be proficient with both, you'd understand that digital is the way to go if you want to get things down quickly and flawlessly.

I love how some artist can do certain effects you wouldn't beleive traditional media could even achieve. Like glowing eyes, water effects, or highlights!

...for some reason, however, it takes me SO MUCH longer to work with digital media, then traditional. Like in Photoshop for instance.... it takes me FOREVER to do linework.

I like the how tangible traditional art can be as well, but that's not the only thing. I do think there is a time and place for digital artwork, but I will always feel that a good traditional piece with always trump a good digital piece. And believe it or not, you can do more with traditional artwork than digital... Glow in the dark paint anyone???

I've pissed off a lot of people with my bias, but I just honestly feel that digital art is lazy in comparison to traditional, and removes a lot of the human element in art. I'd only ever want to use digital if I desired to get something done fast or sketch out and rework ideas.

I understand. I actually rather do traditional art, just cause whenever it's a finished work, it's actually THERE... no need to print. I also get real happy whenever I make a work that I like, it's an ego booster...

Digital art frustrates me, but I do enjoy it sometimes. Before my tablet pen died I was having a blast with Paint chatting and working in Photoshop... BUT oh well. Must wait till I can buy another expensive pen.

I may seem like an ass towards digital art at times, but I actually do respect it for the most part.

I just think that some people get a little lazy with the digital mediums and I think digital kinda of allows this in some cases, as it's vertually impossible to make "mistakes"...

Regardless, I am fonder of traditional than digital. That's just me though.
