This is a quick thing I banged up today for =Lyanti's contest that's almost over. It's the first time I've really been able to draw for a few months now... and it was also nearly the longest I've sat down in one place drawing too... Maybe 8-10 hours without moving for much more than a bathroom break I think.
It felt really good though, and even though this is obviously not the best I have... I feel very happy right now, just because I was finally able to do something meaningful to me. Comments It is always the process and meaning of the art that is more important that the finished product.

I know sometimes I get so cuaght up in the details, that I tend to forget the meaning. If nothing else I feel really good right now. -- Bryan Mischke My Artwork & Photography :3  It's simple. And sweet.
Like the others said, you really got a meaning in there. And it's very nice-looking, of course. Ya did good.  -- You enot sut. - When you find yourself in a sticky situation, sometimes you just have to ask yourself: "What would Neil Peart do?" Hidden by Owner =Lyanti said that the actual quality of the work was only worth something like 20% of the score... while things like the concept and composition made up the meat of the scoring system. I pretty much took it as an opportunity to finally take it easy and enjoy the work.
Funny thing is that I really liked the compositional idea of the lighting here... and is probably my favorite aspect of the image... ahah... Damn, that's so lame of me. XD Anyways, thanks for everything man. -- Bryan Mischke My Artwork & Photography :3  Wow.....Impressive! it may not be the best you have to offer, but it is fabulously emotional and does a wonderful job of getting the point across! The pose is even making a little heart,wich helps convey the feeling O so much! The lighting,however, is my favorite part of this, It is a very well don pic!
